The gentleman on the front of our hang tag is one of the early blues pioneers, Arthur “Blind” Blake. Little is known about him, other than the legacy of his music which showcased his elegant playing style on guitar. The 1927 Paramount Book of Blues had this to say about Blind Blake: “He could not see the things that others saw – but he had a better gift. A gift of an inner vision, that allowed him to see things more beautiful.”
